Fredric's
Corporation has a long list of partnerships that we have cultivated
to help give back to the community each and every day. For years
Fredric's has sought out different organizations and organizations
that help us give back.
Project
Daymaker is 34’ Mobile Hair Salon housed in a winnebago
that travels donating hair services to those
in need. This
501(c)-3 non-profit organization is blessed to have financially
and personally supported by Frederic and his family. Salon
partners and licensed professionals from across the United states have donated
time & resources as well as raising substantial dollars.
Since
1995, almost
100,000 miles, 500 volunteers, 300 agencies/locations served Over
70 cities in OH, IN, MI, KY, Other states served on a cross county tour
of Ronald McDonald Houses include, IL, MN, NY, TN, GA, FL, TX, AZ, CA,
Over 8500 men, women and children have been served to date.
The
Pyramid Hill Art Fair was the brain child of Frederic
holzberger in 2003. The Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park in Hamilton,
Ohio is a
hidden
treasure
of land, water, trees monumental sculpture and natural
beauty. To celebrate the park and ensure it's future, the art fair
was
created. Over 100 artisans exhibit their artwork, pottery,
prints,sculpture and paintings in beautiful setting of the park for
a three day
art fair complete with tours of the Sculpture Park, Food
Court and inspirational presentations. The Pyramid Hill Art fair
is a
must for your Fall Calendar.
Fredric’s
Corporation, lead by the Holzberger family, have built two homes
and has just completed rehabilitation on a third. Employees
are encouraged to participate in the building
of the houses and other houses that
may
be being built.
University
of Cincinnati Architecture,
Art and Planning program and Fashion design
Fredric's
Corporation has supported the Fashion Program at The
University of Cincinnati every year since 1993 with annual
scholarship gifts awarded to the student recipients
who have designed garments
that best exemplify “environmental” designs
in fabric and garments. Again this June 2004, scholarships
were awarded and shared by two students. Every
year at the Aveda/Fredric’s Mid-America
Tour beauty industry event fashion show held in Cincinnati,
Ohio, the one of a kind student designs are showcased
in segments with world
famous
hairstylists
bringing the entire look of beauty, fashion and wellness
together. Joining the creativity of the students from the
Aveda Fredric’s Institute
and DAAP program has proven very successful on many levels of education.
Buckett
Boyz
Frederic
Holzberger donates an annual scholarship to the drum
corps known as the Buckett
Boyz. Comprised of inner city boys from Cincinnati,
Ohio who have mastered their drumming skills on recycling bins.
Cincinnati
Gymnastics Academy
World
class gymnasts provide amazing
exhibitions each year at the Mid-America Tour Evening Performance
in Cincinnati,
Ohio. These
Olympic hopefuls create a piece to be performed for the clients
of Fredric’s
Corporation every year. The $2500 scholarship awarded
to the Academy provides
assistance
with travel and
training expenses for the
gymnasts.

White and Kaboom
The
City of Fairfield annual Independence Day Fireworks
Celebration Held on July 3rd, the fireworks
over Fairfield is
guided through to fruition
by Frederic Holzberger,
Fredric’s Corporation
and city volunteers. As
a
longtime Fairfield residents have been
very instrumental in
bringing back the famous Rozzi fireworks back to
the community. Many hours
are volunteered to make
this citywide event a
huge success
for the citizens of Fairfield
to enjoy.
Frederic won the
2002 Fairfield
Spirit Award largely
due to his volunteerism
on this project. 2005
is the 50th anniversary
for the city of Fairfield
and 5th year for the
Holzberger family involvement
Uppledger
dolphin Project
Support
is directed to the Upledger Foundation in Palm Beach, Florida
and continues the good work of
learning more about the
relationship between
dolphins and humans and how it relates to wellness
and health.
Childrens
Theatre
Fredric’s
Corporation has been partners with the Children’s
Theatre for over
a decade. Donating
beauty products,
makeup and wig
construction to
the theatre has
been the norm until
this past year
when Project Daymaker
joined forces with
Jack Louiso and
his troupe during
the Rapunzel production
to cut hair for
Locks of
Love on board Project
Daymaker.
Raffles
Fundraising and Donations
Tens
of thousands of dollars have
been raised and donated back to
the community
and social
service
agencies over
the four state area of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky,
helping
those in need.
One local recipient through a "eight year" relationship is St.
John’s Daymaker
Salon on 12th
Street in Over
The Rhine.
All Aveda
product
used in serving
the people
of Over the
Rhine is donated
by Fredric’s
Corporation.
Many raffle
baskets of
Aveda beauty
products are
requested and
granted
throughout
the year.
As many
as 100 baskets
will be donated
by Fredric’s
Corporation
to the requesting
organization
so that they
can raffle
it and
make money
for the charities
of their choice.
Many salons
raise
money
for Project
Daymaker and
then volunteer
their time
serving people
in need. Environmental
Awards from
Aveda Corporation
have been given
to Fredric's
Corporation
and Fredric
Holzberger
for their total
commitment
to saving
the planet
and educating
people in our
industry to
do their part.
Earth
Month
Fredric’s
Corporation supports and rallies
four states of Aveda Salons by raising funds to support Aveda Corporation's
Earth
Month efforts by raising
over $100,000 this
past April 2004 for The
Ecology Center in Ann Arbor Michigan
the donation was instrumental
in cleaning the Great Lakes and educating people
on the impact
of
clean water. Over
$300,000 has been raised
over the years with the direction and encouragement of Frederic
Holzberger for environmental causes and humanitarian
efforts.
The
earth and Humanity Foundation
The
Earth and Humanity Foundation has helped Breast Cancer Awareness
and Research, The Upledger Dolphin Project, Pediatric Aids, and
many others worthy
organizations.
