The Plant, a gathering "Scenter" opened as a 2000 sq. ft. organic greenhouse and event space in the fall of 2001. Originally catered by the Brown House Cafe™. This green house serves as a unique environment for learning or for private or corporate events.

The Brown House Cafe, Organic Teas and Eats™

The Brown House Cafe, Organic Teas and Eats opened in January 2001 to the staff and students at Fredric's Corporation and then to the public in March of the same year. Due to the widening of Muhlhauser Rd, The Brown house closed in 2002 with plans to re-open in the future to an alternate location.

Fredric's Family Nurturing Center™

In May 1995 the Nurturing Center was born! The on-site State of Ohio licensed day care facility employed four certified teachers with bachelor degrees in education. The objective of the center was to offer fun and educational child care for children from birth to 6 years old, that nurtures them throughout their social, emotional, physical and cognitive developmental process. Due to widening of Muhlhauser Road, in 2002 Fredric's Family Nurturing Center closed and has plans to re-open on a future date.
